The Cosmetology, Salon, and Spa program is for students interested in pursuing careers that provide services to consumers in beauty application and treatments such as hairstyling, skincare, cosmetics, manicures/pedicures, and electrology. Cosmetology involves the science of improving beauty through the care and treatment of skin, hair, and nails.

This program helps students enhance technical skills and experience with hands-on learning by participating in simulated workplaces and salon settings. In the salon, students will practice their skills and have opportunities during Client Days to schedule appointments, perform related services, maintain clean equipment, and keep a safe work environment. Students in the program are also allowed the opportunity to develop leadership skills and learn about developing an entrepreneurial spirit.
