**Articulation Program: Completion of the following course may lead to articulated credit at an Alabama Community College. A Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) provided by the college may be required for credit.

• Early Childhood Education I and Early Childhood Education II may earn cred for CHD 100 – Introduction to Early Care and Education of Children (3 Credit Hours)

The Early Childhood Education and Training program classes are designed to complement each other and give a first-hand look at careers in education.

Students engage in hands-on learning and go into classrooms to learn first-hand how teachers work with their students in a true educational setting. This field experience and internship allow students to work with children and an experienced teacher.
